In the fall of 2017, BuildaBridge staff and board member traveled to the Netherlands. Partnering with the youth-focused Parlan NGO, BaB Board member Kelly Finlaw helped young refugees create a mural based upon the world they know and the world they want to know. This hope-infused art-making experience framed by BuildaBridge's trauma-informed safe spaces model helped shape a new reality of opotimism, self-efficacy and resilence for these youth.
