WHAT A SUMMER!

A Summer's Dream Fulfilled; It has been nothing short of a magnificent summer for Buildabridge International.

The summer brought several art-making opportunities to fruition with some incredible community partners. Since late June, youth from all around the Philadelphia area have been working with BuildaBridge Restorative Teaching artists at seven sites. Our incredible team of artists brought forth a deep, deep passion to facilitate transformative art-making experiences to youth whose life circumstances preclude them for experiencing BuildaBridge prior. Together BuildaBridge Restorative artists and program participants build bridges of peace and hope through art-making to realize that a good life is deserved. Below you'll find some stats and data from the summer.

We extremely grateful for the trust and fellowship from our community partners:

- HIAS Pennsylvania with the Aquinas Center & Northeast Community Church

- University of Pennsylvania's Netter Center Summer Camps at Penn Alexander & Hamilton Schools for youth from southwest Philadelphia.

- Rowan University and CAMcare

- Georgia E. Gregory School of Interdenominational School of Music.

We'd also like to acknowledge the support of the Philadelphia Cultural Fund, the City of Philadelphia's Illuminate the Arts Grant, the Seybert Foundation and the Schusterman Foundation. These foundations and grants helped make this summer happen.

and thank YOU for being here for BuildaBridge. Hope to see you at International Peace Day on September 21st at the Concert Garden in South Philadelphia!
