Free programs, this Sunday & Monday



This Sunday & Monday, join Buildabridge in the parks of Philadelphia.


On Sunday, June 20, BuildaBridge will be joining longtime partners HIAS, the Nationalities Service Center (NSC) and other refugee support organizations to raise up the visibility of our neighbors who arrived as refugees to Philadelphia. BuildaBridge Restorative Artist, Jihan Thomas, will leading a visual arts activity that celebrates lives of our newest neighbors. World Refugee Day will taking place at Mifflin Square Park (6th and Ritner Streets) from 5-7pm. Read more about the event here.


On the following Monday, June 21st, BuildaBridge will participate in an international day of music making. The city's activities have been spearheaded by Vincent James & Joann Pierdomenico of Keep Music Alive and BuildaBridge will be one of the many organizations providing free music-making activities. Check out the map of all of Philadelphia's happenings. The event will take place at the Concert Garden, 2050-60 Ellworth St, 19146 from 1-4pm.
