Boy and Birds: Final CelebrationFrom May 5-15, 2008, BuildaBridge's Create! Discovery program celebrated the end of the year with final celebrations at six Philadelphia homeless

shelters and transitional homes. Over 150 children and youth participated in the year-long holistic arts education program, taking weekly classes in subjects including visual arts, culinary arts, dance, and drama.

Final CelebrationAt Woodstock Family Center's final celebration on May 12, over 15 families (including many younger siblings!) joined in the festivities as BuildaBridge Teaching Artists Gina Stickney and Richard Robinson led their dance and drumming students in an energetic live performance highlighting the skills they practiced throughout the year. After receiving certificates and much-deserved applause, the students celebrated with refreshments among family and friends.
