A window to see Guatemala
April 12th. Liz Hererra, BuildaBridge's Central American Institute Coordinator,&
nbsp; joined 20 organizations at a volunteer fair organized by GuateAmala (www.guateamala.org). More than 1000 visitors had a chance to know and consider different opportunities for service and action in different fields. BuildaBridge had the chance to make new contacts for Organizations on Call and Artists on Call network.
Under the motto "Heroes wanted to change lives through arts", BuildaBridge's stand gathered more than 75 new artists, teachers, translators, and an important group of highschoolers eager to volunteer in their particular skills and gifts.
Guatemala is a country full of challenges and opportunities and this event was an opportunity to become active in the positive change that is being promoted by local and international organizations. Guatemala's new volunteers are now ready to learn and serve others, changing lives through creative arts with BuildaBridge.
