Liz Herrera de Cabezas joins the BuildaBridge staff as Coordinator of Central American BuildaBridge Institute. She will be developing/translating the website into Spanish and communicating

with Central American artists and organizations while planning the Institute for 2009. Liz is a writer, who has worked for local and international media, press, and NGO's. She has a great passion for children and youth and dedicates a big part of her life working for their development and personal growing through her personal abilities and professional skills: teaching, writing and producing resources for different organizations. During our recent arts camp in La Limonada served as a translator for the dance class.

She also works as a freelance journalist. She graduated from university in Communication Sciences, with a specialization in development and is currently taking credits for a Masters Degree in Counseling and Christian Education. She is married with Fabian Cabezas, from Costa Rica, and they live in Guatemala City.
