The first of September, Rosa Lennix, a graduate intern from the International Economic Development program of Eastern Univeristy will become an Artist on Call member for BuildaBridge in

Her role will be to develop sustainable networks of artists to work among the poor and gangs in prison. She will be preparing for the arrival of a BuildaBridge arts team in November, as well as a BuildaBridge Institute for Central America in 2008.

A major direct service project will be to teach English as a second language through art in an after school program in La Limonada. Rosa's preparation involved attending the BuildaBridge Institute 2007, as well as orientation days for administrative preparation at the BuildaBridge offices.
