The BuildaBridge Institute Online is a training and education program of BuildaBridge International. It is designed for artists and community workers who work with people in the contexts of crisis and poverty. Our focus is on engaging the arts for healing, education, community development, and the environment.  Courses have been offered online since 2007 though the use of Moodle, an open source platform for online education.  In 2010, BuildaBridge received grants from the Lindback Foundation and the Non-Profit Finance Fund to develop courses for training that would improve work-force development of artists and community workers.  Our goal is to have all graduate level and certificate level online by 2012 with some courses in Spanish, Creole, and English.
