Barbara Price Davis, MA, is the Executive Director of YouthCAN!, a non-profit substance abuse and delinquency prevention and intervention agency that believes is the transformational power of art.  Hired in 2000 to manage one small art program in the alternative high schools in Northwest Arkansas, Barbara has since grown the organization into a self-sufficient, stand alone agency, managing the Art Explosions Community Imagination Studio, a 6,000 square foot multidisciplinary art studio and its seven programs, now serving over 1,000 people each month, with clients coming from all sectors of the community—youth, adults, people in treatment facilities, mentoring organizations, cancer patients, etc.  Barbara’s background as a social psychologist and artist, along with her expertise in evaluation, fundraising, grant writing, and community relations has allowed this organization to become a recognized advocate for prevention in Arkansas
